IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DONORS BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER THE AUCTION

Before the auction:

Complete “Unity of Gaithersburg On Line Auction Donation Form”.
• If you have purchased a donated item (e.g., a gift certificate) or intend to pay for a donated item (e.g., rental house at the beach) please list yourself as the “Donor Name” and provide us with your “Donor Contact Information”.
• Include the name of the organization where you bought the donated item (e.g., Safeway, AirBnB) in the “Description of Item” section.
• On the other hand, if you requested a donated item from someone else (e.g., a friend/relative or a business owner) and did NOT pay anything for the donated item, then the other person or business is the donor. Please put THEIR contact information under Donor Information. In this case, your name and telephone number must be listed at the bottom of the form in the section called IMPORTANT.

During the auction:
• Please hold onto your donated item(s).

Once the bidding is completed:
• You will receive an email from Unity of Gaithersburg at the email address you listed on the auction donation form, telling you the name and email address of the winning bidder.

Once the winning bidder has paid for the donated item:
• If you are the donor: the winner will contact you directly, at the email address or phone number you listed on your auction donation form, to make arrangements for receipt of the donated item.
